The Crosswinds crew could not be more proud ... Prairieland Feeds, a long time supporter of not only our rescue but numerous local nonprofit animal groups, graciously invited us to again provide pony, horse, and draft rides at their huge 17th annual Pet Fair, coming up on Sept 15&16, 2007!

We raised over $2000 in donations for the draft/pony rides and about $200 in face painting, plus several donations toward the new farm expense and additional feed put onto our account at CWER.

WE BOUGHT TWO TONS OF FEED with a portion of the funds donated!

Every year we have an amazing time. A huge thank you to the Kaluf family who, again, came to help == driving all the way from Muncie IN with their horses to be a part of this huge event.  A special thanks to KayKay, who let us borrow her pregnant pony Penny for pony rides all the way from Indiana! and to Mike & Cheryl, who brought Boss more than 3 hours to work all day Saturday giving rides as well.

We cannot begin to thank Gary and the Prairielands Team, or their fantastic clientele, nearly enough for this incredible generosity. The added visibility is priceless, and the funds raised will make a world of difference this winter for our horses.
